If the repair is quick, $100 is the minimum. If more time is needed, that first hour simply rolls into the final labor total.

Local & Extended Service
$0.75 / mile outside local area
Locations within 25 driving miles of Carmel are considered local.
For jobs farther out, mileage is charged only on the distance beyond that 25-mile area, each way. Drive time is billed at the standard labor rate.
Any additional travel cost will be communicated before the trip.
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET
Normal service hours are Monday through Friday.
Calls outside that window are billed at an after-hours labor rate of $125 per hour. Standard travel, parts, materials, and freight charges still apply.
First Visit
$100 flat rate
For operating equipment being evaluated for Scheduled Maintenance.
I’ll document each machine and filtration system, test the water, check overall condition, and open things up where practical to get a sense of where the equipment is in its service life. We’ll also go over cleaning and day-to-day practices that can help keep it healthy between visits.
This is an assessment, not a repair visit; any repair needs found will be discussed separately, and the assessment can be credited toward the first Scheduled Maintenance visit when a service agreement is signed.

I’ll also keep common wear parts ready when practical, include routine inbound shipping on normal Scheduled Maintenance parts I can stock ahead, and carry your service history forward instead of starting over every visit.
Service-call minimums, travel, parts, and materials still apply. Large, special-order, expedited, equipment, and freight costs are quoted separately.
